Ingredients

  • Sago [Sabudana, javvarisi] -1 cup
  • Ghee [melted butter] – 2 tbsp
  • Milk-1 cup
  • Jaggery- ½ cup
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
  • Raisins - 7
  • Cashew Nut - 4
  • Pista Sliced & Pista powder
  • Water – 3 cups
  • Agar Agar powder _1 tsp

Instructions

  • Wash & soak sago for 5 hours or overnight
  • Heat ghee in a pan then roast cashew nuts, & raisins, keep it aside.
  • Heat water & jaggery in a pan let it boil for 5 min then drain to remove impurities
  • Add water in a pan, let it boil then add sago cook till sago turns to transparent color.
  • Add milk let it boil for 3 min.
  • Add cardamom powder,pista powder, mix well then cut off heat & leave it for 5 min
  • Add jaggery syrup mix well.
  • Add ghee roasted cashew nut,& raisins.
  • Add Agar Agar in luke warm water. Mix well.
  • Set it into mould or Seving glass . Put it in the fridge till 4 to 5 hours.
  • Garnish with pista . Top it with any fruit Compote or any flavor you want.
  • Serve chilled.
