Ingredients

  • 3 medium size boiled alu
  • 1 handful leftover cooked rice
  • 1-2 slices leftover bread
  • 1 tsp Roasted jeera powder
  • Salt, chilli flakes and chat masala to taste
  • 1 tsp oil and 1tsp jeera for seasoning
  • Oil as required

Instructions

  • Mix all the ingredients. Heat 1 tsp oil. Add 1tsp jeera, brown. Add to the mixture. Make tikki and shallow fry. Serve with chili and tomato sauce.
  • Note - you can add any masala, boiled vegetables, oats etc but since this is jeera aloo tikki, the prominent flavours are of jeera and aloo.
