Ingredients

  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Gralic 4 cloves
  • Ginger 1
  • Roasted green chilli 4
  • Roasted onion 3
  • Roasted tomato 4
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Hing 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Coriander cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Chole masala 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1
  • Jinjara 500 grams
  • Salt For roasting

Instructions

  • Firstly roast the jinjara by add salt in it, cook for 30 minutes till the color of salt get change.
  • Even roasted/ grill the onions, tomatoes and green chilli
  • Now Chopped the ginger, garlic and green chilli in the chopper same way chop the onion and tomatoes.
  • Roughly crush the jinjara in mixer.
  • Now heat the oil in pan add cumin seeds, Then add ginger Chilli garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes
  • Now add onion and saute for 2-3 minutes. Then add tomato and all the seasoning in it. Cook till oil is released
  • Then add crushed jinjara in it. Add water and cook it completely.
  • At last add lemon juice and chole masala in it.
  • Serve it hot with bhakhari, Paratha, roti or debhara. Garnish with coriander and onion

Notes/Tips

Garm masala can be used in place of chole masala
