Ingredients

  • 4 cups Jowar flour
  • 2 cups jaggery powder
  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 cup crushed nuts
  • 1 tsp cardamon powder

Instructions

  • Dry roast the flour in a a heavy bottom pan for 10-12 mins untill a nutty aroma arises.
  • Take it down in a big bowl . Add crushed nuts and cardamon powder and mix it well .
  • Now in the same pan, melt the ghee and add jaggery or jaggery powder to it . Cook on slow flame until it melts and combines.
  • Pour it onto the flour nut mixture and carefully mix it all together. It's extremely hot so be careful.
  • Once combined, press this into a greased tray and make cuts lightly .
  • It will set and become firm in a few mins . Cut into squares and store in air tight jar.

Notes/Tips

They last easily for a week if stored in air tight box .
