Ingredients

  • Dosa rice 2 cups, jaggery 2cups,poppy seeds 1tbsp
  • Sesame seeds 2tbsp,oil for deep frying,water 4tbsp

Instructions

  • Soak rice for 2 days.. By changing water 2 times a day. After 2 days rinse rice and dry it on cotton cloth for 10mins. Grind it into smooth powder and seive it. In a thick bottomed vessel add Jaggary water and melt seive t if there is any dirt. Now boil it and see for soft ball Paka by adding little Jaggary Paka in water... Simmer the flame and add poppy seeds, sesame seeds ,rice powder mix well and take out of the flame.. after mixing well apply little oil on the top so that Paka won't get dried. leave it for 1 day... Next day keep oil for heating.. Make small balls and flatten it little and deep fry.... Press little to remove excess oil.

Notes/Tips

Changing water after soaking the rice is very important. Jaggery consistency is very important.
