Kadai pizza

Ingredients

  • All purpose flour (maida)
  • Dry yeast
  • Paneer
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Pizza sauce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Amul Cheese
  • Gram flour (besan)
  • Chilly flakes
  • Oregano
  • Salt
  • Oil/butter
  • Sugar
  • Slightly warm water

Instructions

  • In a bowl, take 1/4th cup of water add 1 tsp sugar, stir continuously until the sugar dissolves. Add 1tsp dry yeast and cover the bowl . Let it rest for 10 minutes untouched.
  • In the same bowl add 1.5 cup of maida and oregano. Mix the flour vigorously and form a soft dough. Knead the dough well and cover it for 1 hour
  • While the dough rests, in a bowl take gram flour add Salt and chilli flakes and add water to get slightly flowing consistency
  • Cut paneer into small pieces and mix it with the gram flour mixture. In a pan add 1tsp oil and add the paneer pieces and roast it.
  • Chop tomato and onion as you want. Grate the cheese
  • After 1 hour the dough size will get doubled. Take the dough out of the bowl, stretch and knead well. Make 2 equal balls of the dough and roll it on the platform
  • Grease any steel plate with oil/butter, place the rolled dough in the plate uniformly. With the help of fork make holes so that the pizza base doesn't rise in the middle
  • Apply pizza sauce on the base, then add mayonnaise as much you prefer. Add cheese on top of that add the roasted paneer pieces tomato slices and onion sliced and again add cheese as much as u want.
  • And finally sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes on top
  • Place the kadai and keep stand, place the pizza plate inside the kadai and close the lid. Keep the gas on high flame for 5 minutes and after that lower the flame and let it cook for 15 minutes.
  • And after 20 minutes your pizza is ready😉

Notes/Tips

You can add veggies as per your choice. Also the amount of cheese is totally upto you
