Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup besan
  • 2 Cup curd Sour
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • As needed salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • as needed Oil
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 curry leaves
  • 1 whole red chilli
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 onion

Instructions

  • Put curd,besan, Turmeric powder,salt in a mixie and grind it twice.
  • Take a karahi,pour 2 tbsp of oil with bay leaf,whole red chilli,curry leaves and cumin seeds.When they crackle up,add thin sliced onions and ginger garlic paste & cook them till they become light brown in colour.Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and saute for few seconds.
  • Now put the grinded curd paste in it.Add 2 -3 glass of water in it and cook till it becomes thick on a low flame.
  • Take a bowl,add besan,salt,carom seeds,red chilli powder and chopped onions,mix well with the help of water,Make a thick batter of it.Add oil in a Kadhai and make pakoras from the batter.
  • Before serving add pakoras in it and garnish with kasuri methi.serve hot kadhi with rice.
