  • Rice flour
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Ghee
  • Coconut
  • Jaggery
  • Cardamom powder
  • Poppy seeds

Instructions

  • In a pan add jaggery and water. Cook this on medium until the jaggery melts. Then add coconut, cardamom powder,poppy seeds and mix well. When the water gets evaporated. Turn off the flame. Next add water,ghee,salt to a pan and bring this to boil.include rice flour and mix well to form a dough.turn off the stove. When the rice dough is still warm divide it into equal portions and roll like a ball and take a ball and place it on the cloth. Press it with your fingers and make a disc. Add 2tbsp of coconut mixture. Fold the edges and seal it. And steam cook the dumplings for 15-20 minutes.(use idli steamer) Serve hot.
