- Take a mixy jar and grind the cashew to a fine powdered form. Also grind and keep sugar ready.. Then take a big kadai and add little ghee and powdered sugar and water and bring it to a thin syrup consistency. Then keep adding and storing cashew powder. Don't stop. Just keep stirring on a low flame preferably so that it doesn't catch to the bottom of the vessel.
- Then add 2tbsp ghee and stir again till it leaves the vessel and can be removed on a ghee greased butter paper. Now with the help of the butter paper knead the katli dough nicely and bring it to a dough shape. Now place another butter paper on top and with the help of a rolling pin roll it nicely but keep a thickness to it. Now remove the top paper and cut the katli in a diamond shape.
