  • Garam masala
  • Cashew
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Ghee

Instructions

  • Wash rice, add 7 to 8 cups of water and soak them for 1 hr. Now add salt, tea spoon oil, black cumin seeds, cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, mace, clove, bay leaf and cook till rice is half cooked filter and remove excess water from rice. Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and fry. Add green chilli paste and fry. Now add cashew paste, salt and cook for 2 mins. Now add coriander and mint leaves and cook for 2 mins. Then add lemon juice, cashew, garam masala powder and mix. Put a vessel on tawa, put a layer of rice then layer of cashew mixture, after completely putting layers of rice and cashew mixture add ghee, fried onions, cover with lid put heavy weight on it and cook on low flame. Kaju dum Biryani is ready.
