  • Mtr Gulabjamun mix
  • Cardamom powder
  • Kesar
  • Dry fruits
  • Sugar
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Grated coconut powder

Instructions

  •  I used store bought MTR Gulab Jamun Mix to make this dish.It’s so easy to prepare.First step is to make sugar syrup.The packet says to use 1 kg of sugar with equal quantity of water to make syrup.You can adjust sugar level as per your requirements.
  • Knead the mtr Gulabjamun mix into dough by adding water
  • Roll the dough into small round shapes or any shapes you want.
  • Followed by frying them in oil and soaking them in sugar syrup for 8 hours.
  • Finally take them out and sprinkle grated coconut on it. Delicious Kala jamun is ready.

Notes/Tips

Always keep in mind to deep fry in medium flame.If not the inner dough will not be cooked. Soaking overnight will give best results.
