Kalonji wale parwal aloo

Ingredients

  • 6 green parwal,
  • 3 med sized aloo,
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil,
  • 1/2 tsp kalonji seeds,
  • 1 small onion sliced,
  • 3 green chilli slitted,
  • 1/2 tsp haldi powder,
  • As taste Salt

Instructions

  • Scratch parwal, peel aloo, cut both longitudinally (same shape). Wash them, keep aside.
  • Take an iron wok, add oil, heat it. Moderate the flame, add kalonji seeds, let it splutter.
  • Now add onion & green chilli, stir fry it until light brown. Add haldi powder, mix it well.
  • In goes veggies, stir fry it for a minute. Add salt now. Mix it well.
  • Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until veggies aur almost cooked.
  • Open the lid, increase the flame, stir fry it until dry.
  • Turn off the flame, cover it again. Take out in a serving bowl or dish, have it with Roti or Paratha...

This sabji is very light for tummy
