- Grind rai, add rai powder and salt in water mix well and keep for fermentation for 6 hours
- Soak dal for 6 hrs, grind it into fine paste
- Whisk it for 10 minutes and make it fluffy
- Make vada fry it till golden brown on medium flame
- Put the vada in kanji
- You can give smoke to it by covering it for 10 minutes
- Kanji vada ready
