Ingredients

  • 18-20 Saffron strands
  • 1/2 litre Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Fresh Cream
  • 4-5 strands Agar-agar

Instructions

  • Bring milk to a rolling boil with Saffron strands or Kesar. Let it simmer for sometime on a low heat. Stir in some Fresh Cream too.
  • Simmer it for atleast 10 minutes or so. Add in some Nuts too if desired. As a final step, boil Agar-agar powder in about 5 tablespoons of water after mixing it well.
  • If you are using Agar-agar strands, let them boil until completely dissolved and the solution looks clear. Now add this to the hot Kesar or Saffron Milk. Mix it well and it's all ready to be poured into a dish.
  • Pour this in a cake pan or any container of your choice of any shape. Let it set at room temperature until it becomes a bit cold. It should not be refrigerated directly because it's hot. The final step is that of refrigerating it.
  • Refrigerate it for an hour or two before serving. Or as you wish to do it. Slice and enjoy. Yum!
