- In a pan add milk and put it to Medium flame. Stir continuously with a whisker to avoid lumping. Cook until milk remains half of the volume taken initially.
- Now switch the flame to low . Add soaked Saffron, sugar and 1/4th cup of condensed milk to the pan and cook until you acquire a thick consistency. When done switch off the flame and let it cool down.
- Meanwhile in a pan add sugar and water and make normal consistency syrup. Now keep it aside.
- For stuffing, in a bowl add mixed dry fruits, 1/4th cup condensed milk, soaked saffron and milk powder. Mix all the ingredients well to acquire a dough consistency. Now make small flattened circles of the dough.
- Cut the bread slices in two circles with shape cutter. Grease both the slices with sugar syrup and dip them in the thickened milk for 3-4 seconds.
- Take one bread circle put stuffing on it and sandwich it with the other bread circle. Complete it with garnishing sliced pistachios and food colour on it.
