  • Milk bread
  • Milk powder
  • Milk
  • Mixed dry fruits
  • Sugar
  • Saffron
  • Kesariya food colour
  • Water
  • Condensed milk
  • Pistachios

Instructions

  • In a pan add milk and put it to Medium flame. Stir continuously with a whisker to avoid lumping. Cook until milk remains half of the volume taken initially.
  • Now switch the flame to low . Add soaked Saffron, sugar and 1/4th cup of condensed milk to the pan and cook until you acquire a thick consistency. When done switch off the flame and let it cool down.
  • Meanwhile in a pan add sugar and water and make normal consistency syrup. Now keep it aside.
  • For stuffing, in a bowl add mixed dry fruits, 1/4th cup condensed milk, soaked saffron and milk powder. Mix all the ingredients well to acquire a dough consistency. Now make small flattened circles of the dough.
  • Cut the bread slices in two circles with shape cutter. Grease both the slices with sugar syrup and dip them in the thickened milk for 3-4 seconds.
  • Take one bread circle put stuffing on it and sandwich it with the other bread circle. Complete it with garnishing sliced pistachios and food colour on it.
