  • Tuvar dal
  • Tomatoes
  • Salt
  • Hing
  • Turmeric powder
  • Coriander cumin powder
  • Green chilli chopped
  • Gratted ginger
  • Curry leaves
  • Jaggery
  • Kokam
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Cloves
  • Black cardamom
  • Bay leaf
  • Dry red chilli
  • Oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Water
  • Fresh coriander

Instructions

  • Wash and boil the dal by adding 1 tomato, salt and turmeric powder.
  • Now a boiling pot add the boiled dal, add all dry masala, green chilli, ginger and curry. Add jaggery and kokam also, now boil for15-20 minutes.
  • Now take a tadka pan, heat oil add all seeds and whole spices in it even add dry red chilli and curry leaves with hing.
  • Serve it hot with rice.

Notes/Tips

Add some ghee or oil at time boil, it won't stick in pressure cooker even it will taste yummy.
