  • 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon red chilli powder
  • Half teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • Half teaspoon dried Ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed fennel seeds
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1 teaspoon amchur powder
  • 1 pinch hing

Instructions

  • First, soak the moong dal in water for 2 hrs. Now drain the excess water and grind it for 1 or 2 minutes so that it is only crushed.

  • First, we will make the dough, for that mixing flour,1/4 cup ghee or oil, salt to taste and knead a soft dough and keep it for 1/2 an hr covered with a moist cloth.
  • Now take a pan and put 1/2 tbsp oil and heat it on low flame. Add all the spices from turmeric powder to amchur powder one by one and add crushed moong dal and hing into it and saute.
  • Cook All the spices on low flame for 1 or 2 minutes. Let it cool down. Now make stuffing balls from it. Knead the dough and make a ball from it and flatten it with your fingers, put the stuffing ball in the middle and close it with your fingers. Press it and flatten the top and roll it lightly with a rolling pin.
  • Make all the kachoris and deep fry them in medium hot oil so that they puff up well. Fry them till golden brown and crispy and take them out on tissue paper. Your kachori is ready to serve with Tamarind Chutney.
