- Mix the jowar flour, wheat flour, semolina, salt, turmeric, ginger, green chili, lemon juice, yogurt and water until combined. Cover and leave for at least 4-6 hours. Heat the oil, then add eno in the batter and mix well. Using your fingers, cup the batter and place it into the oil. Make sure to turn the vadas while frying. Remove from oil and repeat with the rest of the batter. Serve hot.
