  • 1 litre full fat milk
  • 100 grams Chushi (ready made pack)
  • 1.5 cup jaggery (solids)
  • 2 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  • First roast Chushi grains in ghee.
  • Roast under medium flame till golden brown, it takes around 4-5 minutes and keep aside.
  • In pan add milk, wait for a rolling boil.

  • Now add fried Chushi grains and keep stirring to avoid lumps. Cook under medium flame for 12 - 14 minutes and milk starts thickening.
  • Now add jaggery and mix well, gradually jaggery melts and cook for 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes and its ready, no need to thicken more as after cooling it will thicken more.
