Ingredients

  • Mawa 500gm
  • Maida 125 gm
  • Baking powder 1/4tsp
  • Sugar 1kg
  • Cardamom powder 1 +1 tap
  • Oil to fry

Instructions

  • Take maida in a bowl and add baimg soda mix well
  • Add khoya mix well and knead it into dough
  • Tae sugar in pan and add water heat up on medium heat until all sugar disolves Once sugar disolves , increase the heat to high and bring the syrup to boil
  • The consistency for the syrup should be close to single thread Add cardamom powder
  • Take the dough and knead it Make a small ball in size
  • Heat up oil on medium heat and fry gulab jamun

Notes/Tips

Do not fry gulab jamun on high flame
