Ingredients

  • 2 cup Maida
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Oil for frying
  • Sugar syrup
  • 2.5 cup sugar
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 2-3 cardamom

Instructions

  • Mix maida + salt + ghee + water and knead a semi soft dough, keep rest for 10 minutes.
  • Make sugar syrup by boiling water + sugar + cardamom and make a slight thick syrup.
  • Take medium size balls from dough and Roll out a medium size either round or rectangle and make slits leaving the edges
  • Now gently roll through the help of the edges (kindly refer pic)
  • Deep fry in oil till golden brown and dip in sugar syrup, allow to stay in syrup for 10 -15 minutes and transfer to a separate plate.
  • Sweet is ready to serve.
