Ingredients

  • 2 cups chickpea flour Grind 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 cup Grind
  • 1 cup yogurt / buttermilk 1 cup green coriander
  • 4-5 garlic, 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1 green chili ,1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda Salt to taste
  • For more:1 tablespoon oil
  • 2 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon sarso
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Pinch hing

Instructions

  • First make a paste of ginger, garlic, green coriander and chilli.
  • In a pan mix the chickpea flour, rava. Add ginger-chili-garlic paste, turmeric, sugar and salt to taste. Add baking soda and make better with yogurt or buttermilk. (Add water if needed.)
  • Now heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add rye cumin ajma, add hing and add better. Cover and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Rotate the other side carefully. Bake for five minutes.
  • Healthy kothambir vadi are ready. Serve with sauce or with green sauce.
