- Mix flour with baking powder,salt,kalonji and 2 tbsp oil.Sift well till crumbly.Add approximately 1/4 cup water or as needed to make a tight dough.Keep covered for 10 minutes.Add 1 tsp oil and knead again.Divide dough into 2 balls.
- Smear little oil and roll out the dough like a chapati or into a thin circle. With the help of a knife or pizza cutter cut into thin strips and then diagonally.Heat oil and fry nimki in low to medium flame till light brown and crispy.
- Sprinkle some Chaat or Peri Peri Masala.Cool and store in airtight container. These crispy fried salted Indian snack are perfect for anytime munching.Serve nimki with a cup of hot tea or coffee or as a quick snack on special occasions like Holi or Durga Puja.
