  • Garlic cloves
  • Dry coconut slices
  • Oil
  • Red chilli powder
  • Coriander powder
  • Sugar
  • Salt
  • Dried red chillies
  • Sesame seeds
  • Citric acid
  • Water

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté till fra- grant. Transfer on a plate Put coconut to the same non-stick pan and sauté till golden brown, transfer on the same plate and cool. Coarsely grind together sautéed garlic-coconut mixture and dried red chillies. Add sesame seeds, citric acid, salt, sugar, chilli powder and coriander powder and grind again. Then add 1/2 cup water and then Store in an air-tight container and use as required.
