  • Whole wheat flour
  • Maida
  • Fried garlic
  • Mint springs
  • Ghee
  • Dried mint leaves
  • Salt
  • Chat masala
  • Yougurt

Instructions

  • Take 2½ cups wheat flour in a bowl. Add refined flour, 2 tablespoons ghee, garlic, dried mint leaves, salt and torn mint sprigs and some water and knead into a semi-soft dough. Cover with a damp muslin cloth and set aside for 20 minutes. Divide the dough into equal portions and roll out into thick discs. Brush some ghee and sprinkle some wheat flour on each disc. Make alternate folds of each disc to make a fan, roll it and seal the end. Roll out each portion into thin discs to make lachcha paranthas. Heat a non-stick tawa. Place each parantha and roast from both sides till golden brown, basting with some ghee. Transfer on a plate and slightly crush the paranthas to get the layers. Sprinkle some chaat masala and dried mint leaves and serve hot with yogurt.
