  • Tomatoes
  • Hing
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Onion
  • Cumin
  • Mustard
  • Lobia
  • Chilli powder
  • Coriander
  • Oil
  • Turmeric powder

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds. When they splutter, add cumin seeds, and saute it. To it, even add chopped onions, salt, ginger garlic paste, hing, turmeric powder, chopped tomatoes( without seeds) and mix it. Then to the same pan, add coriander powder, chili powder along with some water, after sauteing it. Add Lobia (black eyed pea which has been soaked for 2 hrs and cooked till tender) to the same pan and cook it. At last, add chopped coriander leaves, cook for some more time and switch off the flame. Serve hot.
