- Mix maida and ghee well.
- Add water to make a stiff dough. Smear oil and rest for 10 mins.
- Make sugar syrup of one string consistency . Add lemon juice drops and elaichi powder.
- Knead the dough. Roll as thin as possible using rolling pin.
- Cut the edges and make a square.
- Start rolling from one side and after each roll sprinkle maida.
- Cut 1 inch pieces and press them flat with finger.
- Deep fry in hot oil. Soak in warm sugar syrup.
