Ingredients

  • 500gm chana dal
  • 1 coconut
  • 50gm cashew
  • 50gm Raisins
  • 50gm Badam
  • 50gm Elaichi
  • 400gm Jaggery
  • 2Tbspn ghee

Instructions

  • Boil chana dal in pressure cooker with 8to 10whistle.
  • Grate jaggery.
  • Grind all dryfruits and make a fine powder.
  • Grind elaichi and make a fine powder
  • Take a pan, add 1tbspn ghee to It, later add boiled chana dal to it and fry for 5min.After that add dryfruits powder to it, mix it properly and let it cook for 2min, once done add elaichi powder and turn of the gas.
  • Again take another pan add 1tbspn of ghee to it, later add grated jaggery and keep on mixing until it melt, than turn of the gass
  • Now add the mixture of chana dal to melted jaggery and mix it until properly all ingredients get mix. Let it cool down for some time.
  • Once it is cool down, remove coconut milk from coconut and add it to cool down mixture of chanadal and mix it properly. Once procedure is done serve it in bowl or as per your way. garnish it with dryfruits.

Notes/Tips

Chanadal should be cooked properly until it get smashed with finger. Dont boil jaggery to melt, it should be melted in 1boil turn of the gas. Mangana should be served cold or hot.
