  • Chilli powder
  • Salt
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Turmeric powder
  • Green chillies
  • Green peas
  • Potato
  • Rice
  • Coriander
  • Coconut grated
  • Mustard
  • Cumin
  • Cinnamon
  • Cardamom
  • Cloves
  • Caraway
  • Water

Instructions

  • Cut the potatoes in the shape required.Soak the rice for about half an hour In a small pan add a drop of oil and fry all the whole masala(cinnamon, cardamom,caraway,cloves)for minutes. Let it cool. In a blender make a powder of the same. In a big pan heat oil. Put the mustard seeds and let it crack. then add green chillies, ginger-garlic paster,jeera and green chillies puree.Let it cook for a min. Then add the vegetables like potatoes,and peas. After a minute add the soaked rice to it. Then add the grinded masala and chilli powder, if required. Also add Salt. Mix all the things well. Put hot water of double the quantity as rice and cover it with a lid. Let it cook until all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked. Garnish it with Coriander and shredded coconut. Serve hot.
