  • Ready made dosa batter
  • Oil
  • Butter
  • Red chutney
  • Boiled potato
  • Oil
  • Mustard
  • Chana dal
  • Dried Fenugreek seeds
  • Hing
  • Chillies chopped
  • Curry leaves
  • Onions
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Coriander

Instructions

  • To prepare potato bhaji, heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add split Bengal gram, dried fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, green chillies and curry leaves and sauté till curry leaves crackle. Add onion and sauté till golden brown. Add turmeric powder and sauté. Add potatoes, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add ¼ cup water and salt, mash the mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes. Switch off heat, add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer in a bowl. 5oprepare odosa oheat a non-stick tawa. Put 1 teaspoon oil and spread using an absorbent paper. Sprinkle some water and clean using an absorbent paper. 6Pour a ladleful of batter on hot tawa and spread to make a thin disc. Put some butter and 1 teaspoon red chutney in the center and spread evenly. 7Put a portion of potato bhaji in the center of the disc, spread lightly and cook till light golden brown and crisp from downside. Gently fold and transfer on a serving platter. 8Srve hot with coconut chutney and sambar
