Ingredients

  • Masoor dal
  • Basmati rice
  • Chopped carrots
  • Chopped beans
  • Peas
  • Chopped potatoes
  • Onion
  • Chopped garlic
  • Green chilli
  • Green cardamom
  • Cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar
  • Ghee
  • Oil
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Cumin-coriander powder

Instructions

  • Wash dal & rice with enough water & keep aside.
  • Heat oil, add cloves, cardamom , green chilli & chopped garlic. Fry it for few minutes minutes.
  • Add chopped onion , tomato & ginger paste. Add salt & all spices. Add all veggies & saute it till soft.
  • Add rice & dal & mix it well. Add 3cup of hot water , cover it & cook it well. If needed add more water.
  • Once it's cooked add ghee & switch off the flame.
  • Serve it hot.

Notes/Tips

Don't forget to add ghee.
