  • Maida
  • Salt
  • Carom seeds
  • Oil
  • Hing
  • Peas
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Ginger
  • Green chillies
  • Amchur powder
  • Chat masala
  • Besan

Instructions

  • Take a bowl and add all purpose flour, salt, 1 teaspoon carom seeds, 1 tablespoon oil and mix nicely later add water to make the dough, keep aside for 15 minutes. Take a mixie jar and add green peas and blend it coarsely. Heat oil in a pan and add ½ teaspoon carom seeds, asafoetida, green peas saute it. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger, green chillies, amchur powder, chaat masala, chickpea flour and saute it for 2 minutes and switch off the flame. Divide the dough into small portions and make round with hollow in the center and keep the stuffing. Close the edges and roll it lightly. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the kachoris on slow flame for 10 minutes, until it changes to golden brown in colour. Transfer it into paper towel. Now hot kachori are ready to serve with tomato ketchup.
