Instructions

  • Boil water in a pan. Add soya chunks to it and switch off. Keep it soaked and once it grows in size, drain from water and squeeze excess water from the soya chunks. Wash it well in water again. Squeeze excess water with hands and keep aside. Heat pan with little oil, add chopped onion and saute until translucent. Add tomato and cook until mushy. Add coconut, pepper seeds and fennel seeds to it and switch off. Allow it to cool completely. Transfer into mixie jar along with little water and grind into paste. Keep aside. Heat cooker adding 3 tbsp of oil. Once oil is hot, add mustard seeds and allow it to splutter. Add chopped onion & curry leaves and saute until it turns color. Add ginger garlic paste and cook until raw smell goes. Now add the grounded masala paste with little water and cook for a minute. Drop the soya chunks and add all the masala powders along with required salt and water. Mix and pressure cook for one whistle in medium flame. Once the pressure releases on its own, open the lid and garnish with some Coriander. Serve hot.
