- Boil Sweet potatoes in a pressure cooker. Allow it to cool. Remove the skin and grate it coarsely.
- In a kadhai, take grated sweet potato, grated khoya, sugar and ghee.
- Keep the kadhai over the burner and switch it on. Saute on low flame till all the moisture is gone. Add crushed cardamom and mix well.
- Switch off the burner. Allow the prepared halwa to cool down. On a serving plate, take any biscuit of choice. I have taken thin arrowroot biscuit. Prepare round balls from the halwa. Put one ball on each biscuit. Decorate with saffron.
