  • Menthi leaves
  • Oil
  • Cumin
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • Red chilli
  • Urad dal
  • Tamarind paste
  • Tomato
  • Oil
  • Cumin
  • Chana dal
  • Mustard
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing

Instructions

  • Pluck and add methi leaves to a large pot of water. Then rinse them with water. Add 1 tbsp oil to a pan. Once the oil is hot add cumin seeds, urad dal ,garlic and red chilies. Fry for a min. After that add chopped tomatoes and salt. Mix well. Add methi leaves and turmeric, mix well. Add tamarind paste Mix well. Cook on medium heat until mushy. Keep the mixture for room temperature. Transfer into blender . Blend into coarse paste. Transfer into serving bowl. Take a pan for seasoning, add the ingredients. Fry the seasoning and add to the chutney. Serve with rice.
