Methi Paratha

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup methi leaves
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking parathas

Instructions

  • In a bowl add finely chopped methi leaves, wheat flour, ajwain, red chili powder,turmeric powder, oil, and salt. Mix everything.
  • Add water and make a firm and tight dough.
  • Make balls from dough and roll it into circle by dusting some flour.
  • Heat a tawa/skillet on medium flame place the paratha and let it cook. Once you see bubbles, flip to the other side and drizzle some oil on top.
  • Filp again and drizzle some oil to cook from both side.
  • Serve with pickle or curd.

Notes/Tips

Don't add much water while making dough as water in methi will provide enough moisture to it.
