  • Fenugreek leaves
  • Mint
  • Moong dal
  • Coriander
  • Rice
  • Onion
  • Green chillies
  • Tomatoes
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Turmeric powder
  • Red chilli powder
  • Oil
  • Garam masala
  • Salt

Instructions

  • First chop onions and green chillies finely into slices. Wash fenugreek leaves and keep it aside. Soak rice and moong dal for few minutes. Heat ghee in apan and add whole garam masala spices. Then add onions, green chillies and saute it. Now add ginger garlic paste, finely chopped tomatoes and cook it on slow flame. To this add fenugreek leaves and saute it, then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, four glasses of water, then boil it. When water boils, then add soaked yellow gram and rice to cook. Once it is cooked garnish with mint leaves and coriander leaves by which the dish tastes good. Then sprinkle garam masala powder finally and now the dish is ready to serve.
