  • Millet flakea
  • Cumin
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Oil
  • Onion
  • Carrot
  • Peas
  • Red chilli powder
  • Mustard
  • Peanuts
  • Turmeric
  • Lemon
  • Corinader
  • Coconut

Instructions

  • In a wide bowl add the millet flakes and wash it nicely with water. Drain the water completely. Add little salt, sugar, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder to this washed millet flakes and mix well. Keep this aside, always keep covered. Chop the onions finely. Chop the carrots into small. And add the frozen peas. In a pan add oil and add the mustard seeds. When it splutters add the peanuts and add the onions. Saute it till the onions turn translucent. Add the red chili powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and add the carrots and peas. Cook this for 5 minutes. Now add the millet flakes which we kept aside. Let this cook for 3-4 mins in low flame. Put the flame to low and add the lemon juice. Mix well. Cook for a minute and switch off the flame. Transfer to a serving bowl and add the chopped coriander leaves, coconut. Serve immediately.
