Ingredients

  • Oil 1 tbsn
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tspn
  • 1 Green chili chopped
  • 1/4 cup Grated beetroot
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup Cooked rice
  • A pinch garam masala
  • Few drops lemon juice
  • 1 cup curd
  • Beet and mint slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a pan add the cumin seeds and let it splutter.Add the green chilli and saute for about 4 seconds.Add the grated beetroot season with a little salt and mix well.Sprinkle a little water, Once the grated beetroot are cooked add the cooked rice and stir well.Add salt if required,add little garam masala. switch off the flame and add lemon juice and mix well
  • Put the rice in a plate. Cover the rice with the curd nicely from the top and all the sides. Decorate it with the beet slices and mint leaves as seen in the picture.

Notes/Tips

The amount of spices can be altered as per your taste.
