Ingredients

  • Besan 2 cups
  • Ghee 1/2-3/4 cup
  • Milk 4-5 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Almond flakes 2 tbsp
  • Pistachios 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds for garnish

Instructions

  • Melt the ghee Now take a mixing bowl, add besan in it, Make hole in center. Add milk and melted ghee in 1:2 tbsp ratio. Add till semi soft dough is form, now allow to rest for 30 minutes
  • Now sieve the above mixture like small granules or bread crumbs. Now cook the above mixture in a remaining ghee till almond color and ghee is released.
  • If required u can add ghee, now allow the mixture to cool down completely.
  • In another pan make a sugar syrup of one string by sugar and water.
  • Now immediately add besan mixture, green cardamom powder and nuts in it and mix it well.
  • Then allow to set in ghee greased plate, by garnishing with nuts and poppy seeds. Cut in desire shape

Notes/Tips

Maintain the ratio all the time in milk and melted ghee.
