  • yellow moong daal
  • onion
  • tomato
  • Garlic cloves
  • Mustard Oil
  • green chilly
  • chaat Masala
  • cumin seeds
  • hing
  • garam masala
  • salt

Instructions

  • first soak moong daal for 1 hour and then drain water and give it a pulse in a mixer
  • then in a pan add mustard oil and add cumin seeds , hing, chopped 1 onion , green chilly and add daal mixture . cook it on low flame till the mixture dry completely.
  • add chaat masala ,garam masala, salt and coriander leaves and let it cool.
  • now make a round balls from this mixture.
  • now take 2 onion , tomatoes and garlic and make a paste . in a pan add 1 tbsp oil add this paste and fry till it releases oil then add 1 tsp chilly powder , 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt to taste. then add balls cook for few min

Notes/Tips

don't over cook balls in gravy otherwise it will break.
