- Soak moong dal and rice in water for 10 min.
- Take a vessel and add 1/2 litre of water in it. Then add moong dhal to it. When moong dhal is half cooked add rice to it and stir continuously. Add jaggery to it and stir well.
- When it begins to boil then add thin coconut milk and thick coconut milk. Add cardamom powder and roasted Cashew and raisins to it.
- Delicious moong dal payasam is ready to serve.
