  • Greengram/Moong sprouts
  • Bengal gram flour
  • Spinach( chopped)
  • Fruit salt( eno)
  • Grated coconut
  • Chopped coriander to garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • Ginger
  • Semolina
  • Green chillies
  • Vegetable Oil
  • Curd
  • Curry leaves
  • Sesame seeds
  • Mustard seeds
  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Green chillies chopped
  • Water

Instructions

  • In a blender coarsely gring the sprouts, spinach, ginger and green chillies.
  • Now add the bengal gram flour, semolina, curd, salt and mix.
  • Grease a flat pan or baking dish.
  • Add the fruit salt to the batter and give a quick mix. Pour the batter in the pan.
  • Steam the batter in a steamer for 15 mins or cook in microwave by in microwave mode for 5 mins. Let the dhokla cool when done.
  • In a small pan heat the oil for tempering, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, chillies and sesame seeds. Once it releases aroma, add 1 cup water, add salt, sugar and lemon juice. Pour this tempering on the prepared dhokla.
  • Serve the dhokla garnished with grated coconut, chopped coriander and fried chillies.šŸ˜‹
