  • Moong daal
  • Cottage Cheese (shredded
  • Onion diced
  • Corriander
  • Green chillies
  • Salt
  • Paprika
  • Corriander powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Black pepper
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Soak the moong daal for 3-4 hours
  • Now, in a seperate pan add oil, and add chopped onions and saute till translucent.
  • Now add the seasoning like salt pepper turmeric and paprika
  • Saute for few seconds, and add shredded paneer to the pan
  • Saute the paneer in the pan and add corriander .
  • Now blend the soaked moong daal into a fine paste and add water if requited to form a batter
  • Add salt and chilli flakes to the batter and mix well.
  • Now in a non stick tawa, add a small portion of batter and Spread it found and flat.
  • Add ghee/oil to cook from the sides .
  • Now flip the cheela and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the prepared paneer mixture on the top of cheela and fold it in half .
  • Cheela is ready, best served hot with green chutney and ketchup.
