- Soak the moong daal for 3-4 hours
- Now, in a seperate pan add oil, and add chopped onions and saute till translucent.
- Now add the seasoning like salt pepper turmeric and paprika
- Saute for few seconds, and add shredded paneer to the pan
- Saute the paneer in the pan and add corriander .
- Now blend the soaked moong daal into a fine paste and add water if requited to form a batter
- Add salt and chilli flakes to the batter and mix well.
- Now in a non stick tawa, add a small portion of batter and Spread it found and flat.
- Add ghee/oil to cook from the sides .
- Now flip the cheela and cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add the prepared paneer mixture on the top of cheela and fold it in half .
- Cheela is ready, best served hot with green chutney and ketchup.
