- Grind drained moong dal along with broken green chillies and some water into a smooth and semi-thick batter. Transfer in a bowl. Add salt to the batter and mix. Add turmeric powder and mix well. To prepare one cheela, heat a non-stick tawa and grease with some oil. Pour a ladleful of batter and spread to make a semi-thick disc. Drizzle some oil on the top and edges of the disc and cook till golden brown from downside. Flip and cook till golden brown from downside. Put some onion slices and capsicum strips in the center of the disc. Sprinkle some salt and chaat masala and place cottage cheese pieces and tomato roundels on top and fold. Flip and cook for 30 seconds. Serve hot
