- Heat ghee in a thick bottomed pan and fry almonds and dry grapes. Keep aside.
- In the same pan ,saute moong dal for few minutes. Remove from pan.
- Boil water (about 2 cups ) in a vessel. Add moong dal and cook till soft.
- Meanwhile, make a fine paste of poppy seeds, fresh coconut and cashew nuts using little water.
- Once moong dal is cooked and soft, add this grinded paste and jaggery powder.
- Finally add cardamom powder and garnish with dry fruits.
