- Soak the washed moong dal overnight.
- Then drain the water and wash it.
- Grind it in a mixer to make a fine paste.
- Now beat it with a spoon or with your hand until it becomes light.
- In a vessel prepare sugar syrup with water and sugar.
- Now put cardamom powder, rose essence and kewra essence in the syrup and turn off the flame.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Now prepare pakoras by adding little batter with your hands.
- Put the pakoras in hot oil.
- Fry the pakoras well till they become light golden.
- Remove the pakoras from the oil
- Prepare all the pakodas and put them in the syrup.
- Put orange food color in the syrup and keep it covered for 2 hours.
- When it cools down, enjoy the moong dal rasgullas(Moongauchi).
