- Wash and soak a glass of yellow moong dal + a handful of poha + a handful of rice , for 3 hrs . Keep ready roughly sliced - Onion,Ginger,Chillies and Curry Leaves Drain the water from the Dal mix. Put in a blender , add the roughly sliced onion mix , add jeera, salt and grind. Grindly to a smooth batter adding little water . Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of the batter and spread into a thin circle . Sizzle with some oil around the corners and on the dosa . Once the corners turn slightly brown , flip the dosa and let it cook for half a minute. Serve hot with Ginger Chutney .
