Ingredients

  • One medium size muli white radish
  • 5 to 6 tomatoes
  • Jaggery one TBS
  • Deep fried vadis 1/2 cup
  • Green chillies 2 to 4
  • Corridor leaves
  • Mustard paste / mustard sauce two TSP
  • Cumin powder 1tsp Salt
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • For tampering Oil 1/2 TBS
  • Rai / Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera / Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Saunf)Funnel seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Meethi/Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Hing one pinch
  • Dry chilli two
  • Curry leaves 10

Instructions

  • Wash the radish and cut into small slices Finely chopp or blend the tomatoes Heat a pan, add oil , when oil is hot add tampering to it. Then add chopped green chillies Chopped radish salt , turmeric powder and cumin powder. Mix and Cover the lid When the radish is cooked 50 to 60 percentage add chopped tomatoes Cook until the grave is thick
  • Add jaggery and mustard paste. Add little if required Cook another 5minues on low flame Remove from flame and add chopped coriander leaves. Serve with parathas ,khichdi or main dishes if your choice

Notes/Tips

English mustard sauce can be used. Vadi can be exempted
