Mulled pomegranate warmer

Ingredients

  • 1l pomegranate juice
  • ½ tsp coriander seeds
  • ½ orange , sliced
  • ¼ tsp orange blossom water
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise

Instructions

  • Combine the juice, simple syrup, cinnamon, star anise and allspice in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat. Taste and add more syrup if desired. Reduce the heat to low and let steep for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer to a mug and serve warm.

Notes/Tips

Don't overcook the juice . Put less spices not more
